I'm Fiona, or Fi to most. I grew up in Durham, have lived in Australia and Ireland, but found home in the many hills, flat vowels and friendly faces of Sheffield.

After completing a degree in Journalism I started out as a feature writer covering travel, food, news, and human interest stories and have since worked in marketing with brands including Centre Parcs, Castrol and HSBC as well as small local businesses alongside freelancing as a journalist.

I'm mainly interested in writing about lifestyle themes - particularly health, food and travel - and human-interest stories, but can happily turn my hand to other topics.
